Differrent Ways of Bleaching Teeth
For sure all of you know, even just about the meaning, of teeth whitening. However, have you ever hear of teeth bleaching? Well, this article is here to discuss just that and give comparisons about whitening teeth and bleaching teeth. Bleaching and whitening According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the term bleaching is used only when the teeth can be whitened beyond their normal color. Products that contain bleaching agents namely hydrogen peroxide and carbamide peroxide. Wait, aren’t those bleaching agents used for whitening? Again teeth whitening methods available today employ bleaching teeth products as part of their treatment. So, teeth whitening is basically teeth bleaching. For home based teeth whitening products, carbamide peroxide is used, though its a weaker bleaching agent compared to hydrogen peroxide, which is used in dental procedures (done on dental clinics).
