can you still go bald with no family history of hair loss ?
i’m jst 18…n i’m pretty sure i’m losing hair…especially around the tip of my head….
thing is, both my parents have full heads of hair! can it be cuz of my diet? cuz i’m studyin n staying alone eat a whole lotta junk…also, i think the water in the showers is a li’l messed up.. cuz a few people staying in the same building as me complain of the same problem…
this has gotten me depressed as hell n i dun think tht’s helping..
any idea wht’s wrong?
Period Delayed and Hair Loss Because of HPV Vaccine?

I’m 14 and I got my first HPV vaccine about 5 months ago and I got my second one about 2-3 months ago. Since my first shot, I haven’t been getting my period at all and I’m experiencing hair loss that is a LOT more than what I used to lose. Whenever I comb my hair, despite combing from the bottom to top, I still lose a whole bunch of hair. Now, I noticed I can see more of my scalp in the front and I was wondering if this is from the shot?
Also, I changed my diet pretty gradually from eating a lot to a lot less in the pass 7-8 months because I’m trying to lose 10 pounds. Does that have to do with anything because I do eat the amount my body needs. Whenever I’m hungry, I munch on food, it’s just that I cut off all junk food slowly and substitute most of the unhealthy main courses with fruits and some veggies. Just giving out this piece of info because I know an alternation of a diet can result with these things.
(My current doctor is very bad, by the way.)

Am i going bald? or is my hair loss something different that can be corrected?
im a guy, and im only 17 years old, but i’ve noticed throughout the past couple months that my hair has been falling out like crazy. In the shower, or whenever i run my hands throuhg it, i always see a few hairs on my hand. my hair is pretty long (as far as guys go), but most of the hairs i see are pretty short. Id say its like 70% shorter hairs, and 30% hairs that are my normal length that fall out. I know my grandpa (on my mom’s side) went bald fairly early, but my dad is about 53 and he still has most of his hair.
One thing i did discover is that the har around the side and lower back of my head – the hairs that are resistant to balding – fall out just as easily and just as often, and there is no bald spot forming at all. I know my diet is pretty bad (really bad actually), and i dont excersize at all, but i want to change that. And i also have alot of anxiety and stress; i might actually have an anxiety disorder.
what can i do to try and stop this?
I have had sever hair loss because of the implanon. will it grow back?
I have had handfulls of hair coming out every day for the last 6 months. i have ruled out diet and other medications, i think it is because of my implanon. has anyone else had this problem and if so did your hair grow back?
Update: I had it removed about a week ago and have since started having worse hair loss and bad acne. Could hormone problems be the culprit?
