hey, is there any mental illness that could cause hair loss. I am only 18 years old and I have experienced hair loss. if so, what mental disorder is it or could it be? I have been diagnosed with depression. do you think it’s just hereditary?

My girlfriend i was talking about it the other question, the doctors told her she has cancer and she is going to get the treatment tomorrow when she was told she had it today. What kind of cancer could it be, they toold her it was a rare cancer?

Hair loss runs in my family, so I just want to know when to start doing something about it.
