Not just with weight loss how does it help your body in general?

    Meditation is essentially the practice of concentration and mindfulness- It is very good at bringing inner peace to mind, so one can better cope with pressure, and also ones mind is made a lot sharper and clearer, so with practice one can have better attention to detail and focus. Samurai swordsmen used meditation to come to terms with death, with many completely overcoming fear.

    True meditation can increase mental fitness and restore homeostasis that might become out of whack due to our inherent flight or fight impulses and conditioning. It has also been proven to reduce stress.
