Cotton scarves or silk scarves for hair loss (interferon related)?
My hair is falling out thanks to interferon treatments. It has been falling out quickly since the second week of treatment. I got it cut very short today. :( I am planning on buying some scarves to hide my thinning hair. Should I wear only silk scarves or would cotton / rayon be okay? I don’t want to break my hair off and I’ve heard cotton and rayon can break frail hair off faster. Suggestions please! Thanks!
hair loss getting quite extreme…is this normal for male pattern baldness?
Hi all, my doctor diagnosed me with male-pattern baldness. However, I’ve been on Propecia for almost 2 months and the hair loss has only increased. Its so bad that when i run my fingers through my hair, I have hair with roots between my fingers. Is this normal for male-pattern baldness or is my doctor wrong in his diagnosis. Furthermore, I got my thyroid tested and the results are within the range, with a TSH of 3.6.
Can someone help me out?

What could hair loss be caused by?
I found a bald spot on the back/side of my hair, its pretty significant. I already got some blood test done and the results were normal… I dunno, I’m still really nervous, I mean I’m only 23…It can’t POSSIBLY be my age. Should I ask my doctor to run more tests, I have an appointment with the dermatologist soon, but what questions should I ask?
