Thank you. My son is 3 1/2, and diagnosed 1 month ago. He is being so brave through it all, but has no idea why he must endure all that he does.

I am 18 years old and grew up and continue to grow up with type 1 diabetes. I am on an insulin pump as well. this video is fantastic and really crushes some diabetic stereo-types on this disease.

She’s truly adorable! But sure can’t be easy on the parents and the rest of the family to have to deal with this disease :S I’m not diabetic myself, but done quite a bit of reading and planning to become a diabetes educator in the future. Hang in there, and try to see the good things :) I guess it could be easier for Laney to grow up with this instead of having to adapt to it if being diagnosed later in life. Of course, the best would be if the disease never came… Hmmm i’m rambling :S

She’s really adorable! I wish all of you all the best!
Watching this video makes me more determined than ever to become a diabetes educator, so i can help and support children and young adults with diabetes and their families. (I’ll probably focus on T1 care for children and teens)
Anyways, hang in there and stay strong! And again, wish you all the best :)

She is really such a cute child! Watching this video made me cry, as much as it is possible to cry with too high blood sugar… I was diagnosed with type 1 yesterday :(
She is so brave, going through all this so young, I am soon 23 and it can take me very long to test and inject, I am afraid of needles :S
Wish you all the best!

GREAT VIDEO…My son has type 1 – diagnoised 6 months ago. He just turned 7 last week. The tears have not stopped as he has an extreme fear of “pokes”. I understand and can relate to the challenges we face as parents…Keep praying as a cure will be discovered.

wow…says so much. I am the father of a type 1 diabetic who was diagnosed at 8 months old after 4 days in a coma. We recognize the strength in the eyes of a toddler who has endured more injections in a month than the average person endures in a lifetime.
Great job.

I loved your video and sent it to some of my family and friends. I have a 10 year old daughter that was also diagnosed the day before Christmas at age 4. She is also on you tube under type 1 diabetes Lena gymnastics. She is a successful gymnast and works out almost 20 hours a week in the gym. She is on an insulin pump…but also takes a shot of lantus everyday so she can disconnect her pump at gym. She watched your video and also loved it!

I love this video. My 2 year old daughter was diagnosed this year in February. Same story as Laney. The Ped ICU pic that was on here made me break down – just having gone through the same thing. I just wanted to express how powerful the video is and I have shared it with my family and friends. Peace and love.

I have been type 1 for 30 years now. I see the Calorie King book. Makes me smile to see you chose the pump so early. Your prayers are being answered. Keep Loving praying, and dreaming. You will be very proud parents and AMAZED at what God is going to do through your little girl.
Thank You!!
