How much coffee do I add when using a 4 cup coffee maker?

I bought a new coffee maker but my toddler son ruined the instructions with juice. What correct measurement of coffee should be added?
thank you all.

I usually make my coffee by the cup or two cups, and I use about a heaping teaspoon per cup. It depends on other things too:

for lighter roasts I minus a little (like columbian)
for darker roasts I add a heaping teaspoon and a bit (makes it more robust)

and it depends also on the grind. For finer grinds, I use just a teaspoon and for courser grinds maybe a tsp and a half.

I love coffee too. Sometimes you have to adjust depending on the brand or blend, so just sample it thru trial and error until you get the best combo!

I always use 3 tablespoons per 4 cups. That should do it!

About 4 teaspoons. Any more and it becomes mud. I got a 1 cupper and I use 2 tspns for a 12oz mug. Any more than that tastes like mud.
