How can I get rid of coffee smell off a paper?

I am making my paper look old do i poured some coffee on it. It looks great but it smells like coffee and i don’t want that. So how can i get rid of the smell?

    All sodas can damage the paper and pulp resin in the paper product.

    I would have used tea instead of coffee to 2 reasons; one is the odor is less obvious and your trying to make something look like it was from the 1600 or 1700s whe people drank tea. The smell of tea and tobacco is on every document in the US Archieves at the Lib of Congress during this era…it’s the nature of the civilization.

    TRY SETTING THE document in a box with a small bowl with about 4 bricks of charcoal..like you use to BBQ. The smell will be gone in 24 hours. GUARANTEED!

    bicarbonate of soda absorbs the smell
