Help, my girlfriend began going to this aerobics class at my gym and I am afraid she might get HIV?
ok so my girlfriend has just started going to the aerobics class at my gym. And I went to check on her and the trainer guy is an obvious homosexual, and I am afraid since everyone is so sweaty that if the trainer touches her she could get HIV.
I tried to warn her but she doesn’t understand how dangerous this could be.
what should I do, im thinking on calling up the trainer and warning him to not get to close to her, should I?

HIV is NOT equated with being gay, and vice versa. Sweat is not a carrier of the HIV virus.

First, I don’t think sweat transmits HIV
Second, your girlfriend should be more worried about the open cuts that must be covering her body for it to be any sort of issue.
I’m pretty sure this is a joke and if it’s not you are kinda stupid to be honest, but sweat does carry HIV but in very very little amounts. You cannot catch Aids or STDs from other people’s sweat, nor their spit. The only way you can catch aids is through the blood of someone who has it getting into your system or through unprotected sex or oral sex. Do you remember taking biology in high school or college? Did you pay attention? I didn’t think so. Even though HIV is in sweat since DNA is in your sweat, to get it from there you’d need to be engulfing buckets and buckets of that person’s sweat. Which I doubt she would do.
Also just to note:
Not ALL gay people have AIDS.
Straight people have AIDS.
Bisexual people have AIDS.
and the rest of the population also are able to get AIDS.

Just b/c someone is gay does not mean they have HIV. Is your g/f going to have sex or share needles with him? You are either thinking your funny or exceptionally naive.

3) even if he did have HIV, you cant catch it from sweat.
